The GrowthCred field guide

Check the free tools before you buy another one.

Is your business paying for software that a free tool already covers? Many owners are. Before we recommend you pay for anything, we open the free tools first. Here they are, grouped by the question each one answers. Check each tool's current terms and limits yourself. They change.

What are your competitors running?

See the ads a competitor is running. See what their site used to say. See what their customers say. Open Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency Center, TikTok Creative Center and LinkedIn Ad Library. Then open Wayback Machine and Trustpilot.

What are customers searching for?

See what people type before they find you. See what they talk about. Then answer those exact questions on your own site. Open Google Trends, Google Keyword Planner, Pinterest Trends, Reddit Pro and Google Alerts.

How do people find your site, and where do they get stuck?

See which searches bring people in. See how fast your pages load. See where visitors leave. Open Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Open Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Open PageSpeed Insights, Rich Results Test and Yoast SEO for WordPress.

Can local customers find you?

Make sure your business shows up when someone nearby searches for what you sell. Open Google Business Profile, Bing Places and Apple Business Connect. Open Yelp, Nextdoor and Google Merchant Center.

Where do your numbers live?

Keep the numbers you already have access to. Social, video, tracking, reporting and email. Open Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio and TikTok Studio. Open Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio and Google Postmaster Tools.

When a free tool is not enough

Free tools show you the numbers. They don't do the work. Someone still has to read them, answer the enquiry and send the quote. If that someone is always you, the problem isn't a missing tool. It's that everything runs through you.

That's the part we fix. We build private AI that your business owns, so quotes, follow-ups and the questions your team asks stop landing only on your desk.
