What the Quote Engine does
It drafts the quote. It uses your price list. It uses the rules you wrote down. Size. Branding. Lead time. Minimum order. What you will not discount.
A missing price stays a question. It does not become a guess. The draft shows where each line came from.
Those rules can also live in a Company Brain. The next quote starts from the same facts. You are not briefing the job again every Monday.
What stays with you
You approve the price. You approve the lead time. You approve anything the customer will hold you to. Then a person sends it.
The draft does not talk to the customer on its own. It does not invent a discount. It does not promise a date you did not approve.
You are still the person who stands behind the quote.
Start with one product line
Don't try to quote the whole catalogue on day one. Pick one line you quote every week. Write the prices and the rules for that line only.
Run a few real requests through the draft. You check them. You fix the rules where the draft was wrong. Then you add the next line.
A proposal is the cousin of this job. The draft comes from facts you approved. A person still sends it.
What I will not claim
I will not name a PPE or uniform supplier on this page. Nobody has given me permission to do that.
I will not give you a before and after time. I do not have a measured quote result I can show you yet.
When a supplier gives me both, the story goes here. Until then, this page tells you the job. It does not pretend we have already done it.
